If your heating equipment is more than 20 years old, upgrading to an efficient heating system can save you energy and earn you rebates. Even a simple step, like upgrading your home's thermostats, can make a difference.

Available Rebates
Rebates are available for heating equipment that meets or exceeds the following Annual Fuel Usage Efficiency (AFUE) ratings:
Heating Rebates:
- Furnace (equipped with an ECM motor or equivalent) 97% or greater.
- Furnace (equipped with an ECM motor or equivalent) 95% or greater.
- Boiler (Forced Hot Water System) 95% or greater.
- Boiler (Forced Hot Water System) 90% or greater.
- Condensing Boiler with On-Demand DHW 90% or greater.
- Heat Recovery Ventilator.
- After-Market Boiler Reset Controls.
Massachusetts High-Efficiency Water Heater Rebate Program:
- On-Demand, Tankless Models (electronic ignition) 0.94 or greater.
- On-Demand, Tankless Models (electronic ignition) 0.82 or greater.
- Condensing Gas Water Heater (75 to 300 MBH) 95% TE or greater.
- Indirect Water Heater (attached to NG Hot Water Boiler).
- ENERGY STAR® Qualified Natural Gas Storage Water Heater 0.67 or greater.

Owners and renters of single- and multi-family homes can take advantage of a wide range of offerings:
- Rebates on ENERGY STAR-qualified central air conditioning and air source heat pump systems.
- Services such as Quality Installation Verification (QIV) for any new or existing residential central AC systems.
- Information on a range of energy efficiency measures, including duct sealing services for central AC systems.
